| Background Info |
| Where did this information come from? |
During 2003 a number of schools throughout NSW were trial sites for the DET Technology Support Project.
Twenty schools in the Illawarra area were involved with the Macintosh part of this project, along with a number of schools in Western Sydney and Broken Hill areas.
The model developed within the scope of this project has now been adopted for implementation across the state.
|
|
- The documentation developed in conjunction with these schools, along with some other useful documents, is provided on this page for use by other schools in NSW.
Model Overview
- A brief overview of the model used in the trial schools - network assumptions, server setup, workstation setup, etc.
Wazza's Server Setup Notes
- Setting up your server from scratch in the same way as the DET model is setup.
|
The notes on this site are written to support a "standard" DET server setup,
and make certain assumptions about the existing settings of your network.
If you don't have such a setup, Wazza's Server Setup notes
provide details about creating such a setup.
